2020 P&C Disco Guidelines
The following guidelines have been designed to ensure the safety of our children so they can have a fun filled experience with their friends. It is not meant to be strict as we want everyone to have a great time.
It is important that you read these and explain them to your children if they are attending the event.
K-2 DISCO: Starts 5:30pm Concludes 7:00 3-6 DISCO: Starts 7:30pm Concludes 9:00pm
SCHOOL DISCO GUIDELINES
· The preferred method to purchase tickets is via Flexischools with pre-order cut off dates advertised in the school newsletter. Tickets can however also be purchased at the door of the event. Entry is $5 per student.
· Our disco is operating as a closed-door policy. All students will be dropped off at the hall and picked up from within the hall at the conclusion of the disco.
· All students will be required to wear a wrist band for the duration of the disco.
· The cost of the disco includes a packet of chips and a drink for the student attending which will be provided during the break.
· Students are not permitted to leave the disco. Students will have teacher/volunteer supervision to use the bubblers, and bathrooms are available within the hall.
· Parents/Carers are most welcome to stay under the cola of the School Hall for the duration of the disco where seating will be provided.
· At the conclusion of the disco session, students MUST be collected from the hall by their parent/designated carer. Older siblings must be 18 years or older to collect TPS students.
· Only students, teachers, registered P&C volunteers and disco operator are permitted in the hall at any time.
· Students can only attend their own age group disco session.
· Any 3-6 students waiting for their session or remaining after the K-2 session must be under the direct supervision of their parents/carers.
· No pre-schoolers, or relatives of students are permitted to participate in the disco as it is for Toongabbie PS students only.
· If your child behaves in an unsafe manner you will be phoned to collect them immediately.
· There is NO SMOKING whilst you are on the school grounds.
· Please NO photography or video inside the hall.
· Please be at the school hall promptly to pick up your children at the end of the school disco.
DINNER AT THE DISCO
· Dinner at the Disco will be served between the 2 disco session at 7pm-7:30pm.
· Dinner at the Disco MUST be pre-ordered. Preferred method for BBQ orders is via Flexischools. The pre-order cut-off date will be advertised in the school newsletters.
IF you would like to assist the P&C with the disco supervision or BBQ, please ensure the correct volunteer checks have been completed and filed with the school office. Calls for volunteers will be placed in the school newsletter.
