Our P&C Association is an incorporated body affiliated with the Federation of Parents & Citizens' Associations of NSW.
Sub-committees include:
- Parent auxiliary
- Canteen Committee
- School Band Committee
Toongabbie Public School prides itself on the high level of parent involvement that occurs within our school community.
Our P&C Association provides a range of opportunities for parents to be involved at school. You can join a committee, attend meetings, or help as a volunteer at one of the many activities held throughout the year.
Research shows that when parents and families get personally involved in education, their children do better in school. Any support you are able to give benefits the whole school community as well as your child.
P&C meetings
P&C meetings provide a forum for parents to find out what is happening within our school, or to voice any concerns related to public education.
All are welcome at our meetings which are held at 7:00pm on the 2nd Monday of each month during school terms.
Activities
Our parent groups offer a variety of activities that provide opportunities for parents to become more informed, raise funds, or to just have some fun.
We depend on volunteer helpers to run the many events organised by the various committees. Requests for help are often advertised in the school newsletter.
These activities provide much enjoyment to our children and an opportunity for parents to get to know each other (and have fun at the same time).
